Artist/Ceramist: Bailey Knilands
If there is an item that you would like to purchase, yay! Just click the image and it should take you directly to my Etsy page. If it does not then it means I am working on getting it back in stock. Pottery takes time, and since it’s just me creating, it can be a little while before new pieces are ready to post. But I’m always creating more of what’s in the shop—so be sure to follow the shop to get notified as soon as new items are listed.

About the Artist
Hi there! I am Bailey Knilands. I was born and raised in Central Illinois, and just 30 minutes from home, I earned my AA in Fine Arts at Parkland College and BFA in Art Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After graduating, I began teaching art at the junior high and high school levels—still here in Central Illinois.Today, I'm still teaching and still growing, but I’ve also taken a leap of faith: starting my own pottery business. Life is busy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding—and filled with so much excitement. My love for ceramics began long before I ever thought about selling my work. Creating has always been something that brought me joy. But as my relationship with Jesus grew deeper, I felt called to share that joy—and my faith—through art.I used to think Christianity was just about rules. But I’ve come to see it’s really about relationship. Jesus meets us in our mess, loves us as we are, and invites us into something greater. That truth changed my life—and it shapes everything I create. My goal is to use the gift God has given me to reflect His love. When it feels natural, I’ll weave scripture or faith-filled words into my pieces—simple reminders of hope, truth, and light.Thank you for being here. If you ever want to talk about art or faith, I’d love to connect.
